This product is rapidly and completely absorbed after oral administration (>95%). The bioavailability is approximately 50%. The peak blood concentration is reached 1.5 hours after oral administration, and the duration of action is 1-2 hours. The decrease in blood pressure does not parallel the blood drug concentration, while the decrease in heart rate is linearly related to the blood drug concentration. The half-life is 3-5 hours and is not significantly altered in renal dysfunction. It undergoes hepatic metabolism and is excreted through the kidneys.
